Productivity

Oh my little girl. She is such a looker...so much a looker that one gentleman said she had "bedroom eyes." Not gonna lie, that creeped me out a little bit, but what can I say, she's mesmorizing! lol.

It is not easy being as productive as I'd like to be. I still have things that haven't been checked off the to-do list from when I pregnant with Gianna! Some days, I feel very productive and other times...not-so-much. Let me explain. See, I used to be able to jump in the car at 11am, check out of the grocery store at 11:25, stop at the NEX to check out a pair of shoes I'd been eyeing, get back in the car at 11:35, get back on base and fill up the tank by 11:50, drop off a package at the post office at noon and then get back to the house by five after. NOW, with a baby in tow, it takes me that ENTIRE amount of time just to get ready and packed up in the car. So now, when I'm at the grocery store, I get a little frustrated when we have to entertain EVERY person that stops to admire those beautiful blue eyes and those sweet chubby cheeks. It takes 10 minutes just to go down 3 aisles! But...I should be thankful for those beautiful eyes. I am a mother. A stay-a-home mother. A homemaker. And my life...my life is now her and my husband. Everything for them. Although it takes more time to do the things of life, it forces me to slow down. To see and cherish my daughter's "beautiful blues" each and every time a new person comes to admire them, just as if I, too, were seeing them for the very first time. After all, I am blessed to be able to be at the store with my little girl...to be with her every day and watch her grow.

Thank you for working so hard, Craiger.

Look at my big girl! Brushing her teeth! Ok, so yes. It has been way too long since I have updated the blog. AGAIN! Sorry... *puppy face*

I plan to be a bit better about updating. I kind of wish I had a better place for my laptop than the computer table, because then I'd be a little more organized and efficient with my computer time. Oh well. C'est la vie. I think Craiger and I are going to work on that "issue" in due time. For now, the coffee table works.

The Dziewiatkowskis are busy as always. Gigi and I find ourselves a lot to do at home while daddy is busy at work...especially these days. Our holidays and travels were fun, but we are homebodies. And we are happy to be comfy and at home in our beds and with our own "toys." About a week ago, Gianna had her 6 months shots, which were NO fun. We had a fever few days, on top of the fact that we were starting a cold and were teething all at the same time. *Humph*. But she is a good little sport, our little Gigi. She toughed through it like a good girl, and we're all giggles and smiles now. We're even sporting a newly budding tooth. How adorable is that!

God continues to treat us well. We are patiently awaiting orders to Mechanicsburg, PA. YAY! We are supposedly detaching from the ship in July, and Craig is expected to start his work in PA in the middle of August. We should know in a month or so the exacts, but for now, this information is exciting enough, especially considering the fact that one of our next tour options was an "UNACCOMPANIED" tour to Bahrain. NO DAT!
